Thunders Ministry
The senior adult ministry of the church is for senior men and women from ages 50 and above.
In obedience to God’s
command to respect and honor the gray head in our community (Lev.19:32), the
senior adult ministry provides Christ
centered activities to respond to the needs and challenges of senior people living
in a society that values youth and marginalizes old age.
Years
of the varied experiences have given our seniors the gift of wisdom, knowledge and understanding on how God
continues to work in our lives, no matter what age and season in life.
In
reaffirming God’s faithfulness and goodness, the seniors hope to teach the
younger generation how to live and reenact the teachings of our Lord Jesus
Christ in their everyday lives.
